How To Get Married
You’re going to need a licence.
This is something that I cannot legally do for you, but I can help you with the process
Complete an application for a marriage licence. Here’s the link:
Bring the completed application form to the municipal office of any city or town in Ontario, and pay a fee (which varies by location), to get the licence
Once you have the licence, you and your partner must have a marriage ceremony within 90 days
Bring the licence to your Officiant on the day of your ceremony, to be signed along with two witnesses – now you’re married (yay!)
The Officiant will mail the licence to the Marriage Office in Thunder Bay for processing
You will need to request a copy of your marriage certificate from the Registrar General as proof of marriage
